Help Ramesh Walk Again After a Life-Changing Road Accident

For nearly fifteen years, Ramesh Kumar worked as an auto-rickshaw driver on the busy streets of Pune. Every day started before sunrise and often ended late at night, but he never complained because his hard work helped provide for his wife and two daughters.

On the evening of 12 May 2026, while returning home after completing his last ride, Ramesh was involved in a serious road accident. He suffered multiple fractures in his legs and a severe spinal injury that left him unable to walk without assistance.

Following emergency surgery, doctors informed the family that Ramesh would require additional treatment, physiotherapy, rehabilitation sessions, and long-term medical care before he could regain mobility.

Since the accident, Ramesh has been unable to work. His family's only source of income has disappeared overnight. Savings that took years to build have already been exhausted on hospital expenses, medicines, scans, and surgeries.

His daughters continue attending school, but the family is struggling to manage rent, daily household expenses, and medical bills simultaneously.

The estimated cost of treatment and rehabilitation is ₹8,50,000. The family has managed to arrange a portion of the amount through loans and relatives, but a significant gap still remains.
