BRAC never stores, logs, or views sensitive payment credentials such as complete credit/debit card numbers, CVVs, UPI PINs, or OTPs. All monetary transactions are processed directly by certified payment gateways using 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption.

Who is eligible for the Internship Program?

High school, college, and university students, as well as recent graduates, are eligible. Internships can be remote, hybrid, or on-site, ranging from 1 to 6 months. Certificates of participation are provided upon successful completion.

Before a campaign goes "Live," individual fundraisers must pass our secure KYC protocol by submitting verified government identification (such as a PAN card and Aadhaar). Organizations must upload active incorporation and tax certificates.

Can a campaign creator donate to their own active fundraiser?

No. To strictly eliminate circular financial routing and protect platform regulatory audits, Campaign Promoters, Individual Fundraisers, and board members are technically blocked from donating to their own campaigns.

What is the Direct-to-Vendor milestone payout workflow?

BRAC entirely prohibits handing over raw cash into personal savings accounts. All accumulated funds are held securely and disbursed directly to verified institutional vendors (e.g., hospitals, pharmacies, schools) against verified corporate invoices.

What is the Absolute Surplus Policy?

If a campaign surpasses its financial target, or if the final verified vendor invoices cost less than the funds accumulated, the surplus is retained permanently within BRAC’s charitable corpus to be legally reallocated to adjacent emergency relief projects.

Vulnerable individuals can apply via the BRAC Grants portal for Medical Treatment, Academic Fees, Learning Essentials, Ration Relief, Crisis Assistance, and Disability support.

Under what circumstances are refunds granted?

Because donations are voluntary charitable contributions, they are generally non-refundable once allocated. Exceptions are strictly limited to technical processing errors, duplicate transactions, or unauthorized transactions proven via bank review.

How do I start or sign a public petition on BRAC?

Navigate to the Petitions section under Services. You can search existing petitions to sign, or click "Start a Petition" to draft your own movement regarding civic, environmental, or human rights issues.

Every petition is uniquely structured to target competent decision-makers. Depending on the issue, petitions are directed to specific Union Ministries, State Chief Ministers, Municipal Commissioners, or Law Enforcement authorities.

Yes. When signing a petition, you can uncheck the "Show my name" or "Display my support publicly" options to ensure your personal details are hidden from the public supporter list.

Yes. You can select the "Anonymous" identity preference. We require contact details strictly for internal verification to filter spam and coordinate investigations, but your identity will never be disclosed publicly or to the accused.

The secure web form currently accepts PDF, JPG, and PNG formats (max 10MB). If you possess other evidence formats such as large videos, CCTV footage, or audio recordings, you can indicate this via the checkboxes on the form, and our task force will contact you to collect them securely.

How does the "Respond / Intel" feature work?

If you spot a missing person or recognize a found item in the Public Gallery, click the "Respond / Intel" button. A secure modal will allow you to state your connection (Owner, Finder, Informant) and securely transmit your proof or intelligence directly to our admins.

How do I activate the SOS Emergency button?

Look for the floating red warning icon at the bottom of the screen. Press and hold the button continuously for 3 seconds to activate the silent alarm and trigger the emergency interface.

Absolutely not. All links direct you to official Government of India portals. The directory is 100% free forever. If you click a link and are asked for a fee to download a free government form, close it immediately.
