No. BRAC is an independent legal entity operating in India under its own governance. Any references to government bodies, public schemes, or third-party entities on our platform are strictly for civic education and public convenience.

BRAC maintains rigorous compliance and holds active 12A & 80G registrations (making donations tax-exempt), CSR-1 registration for corporate funding allocation, NGO Darpan registration, and is an officially registered trademark. We also undergo statutory annual independent audits.

BRAC never stores, logs, or views sensitive payment credentials such as complete credit/debit card numbers, CVVs, UPI PINs, or OTPs. All monetary transactions are processed directly by certified payment gateways using 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption.

Never. We explicitly prohibit the selling, renting, or trading of personal data. Information is used strictly for donation receipt generation, statutory audit compliance, identity verification, and service delivery.

All uploaded documents, evidence for incident reports, and KYC files are encrypted and processed through secure cloud infrastructure. Access is restricted exclusively to authorized administration and legal review teams.

Subject to mandatory legal and tax-retention requirements, users can request access to their data, corrections, or account deletion by emailing our Data Protection Office at privacy@brac.in.

If you register as a "General User" to sign petitions or use tools, but later make a financial donation to any active campaign, your database profile automatically and dynamically upgrades to a "Donor" designation.

No. To strictly eliminate circular financial routing and protect platform regulatory audits, Campaign Promoters, Individual Fundraisers, and board members are technically blocked from donating to their own campaigns.

BRAC entirely prohibits handing over raw cash into personal savings accounts. All accumulated funds are held securely and disbursed directly to verified institutional vendors (e.g., hospitals, pharmacies, schools) against verified corporate invoices.

If a campaign surpasses its financial target, or if the final verified vendor invoices cost less than the funds accumulated, the surplus is retained permanently within BRAC’s charitable corpus to be legally reallocated to adjacent emergency relief projects.

It is our permanent social capital engine. 100% of your principal donation is locked securely in a protected bank vault. Only the continuous annual growth (returns) generated from conservative management is used to fund social causes month after month.

No. The principal is intended to remain completely untouched to serve as permanent financial bedrock.

A calculated portion of the annual earnings is strictly reinvested back into the core principal corpus. This inflation shield guarantees that the total fund size, and its impact, continues to grow forever.

Vulnerable individuals can apply via the BRAC Grants portal for Medical Treatment, Academic Fees, Learning Essentials, Ration Relief, Crisis Assistance, and Disability support.

To maintain integrity and prevent fraudulent claims or wild goose chases, all reports require exact map coordinates auto-locked to your physical location. This ensures the geographical accuracy of where an item was found or lost.

When reporting, you provide a public description and a separate "Secret Details" field (e.g., hidden birthmarks, device passwords, IMEI numbers). This information remains hidden from the public and is used by our admins to cross-verify claims and prevent scammers from stealing found property.
